Just because he wanted his wife and children to live a happier life, Kyrie Irving spent more than $8 million to buy a villa with more than 1,000 hectares on the LA coast.

After being selected as the first overall pick by the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2011, Kyrie Irving made a real estate move by purchasing a 5,500-square-foot property from former Cavaliers Daniel Gibson and Keyshia Cole for $800,000. He resided in this Cleveland estate until he was traded to the Boston Celtics.

Kyrie’s former Cleveland mansion was a spacious dwelling, featuring four bedrooms and six bathrooms. In his living room, you could find a basketball hoop and an outdoor basketball ring, reflecting his love for the game.

Beyond basketball, the mansion boasted amenities like a recording studio, a movie theater, and a gym, providing ample entertainment and relaxation options when Kyrie wasn’t on the court. The opulent home also included a generous master bedroom, complete with a bathtub and a walk-in closet.

However, as Kyrie’s career reached its peak, he decided to part ways with the mansion. In 2017, he sold the Westlake property for $1.7 million. After struggling to find a buyer, Kyrie eventually agreed to a reduced price of $755,000.
